The 600 × 300 mm frame is a choice for equipment layouts that need open front and rear access within a shallower floor space.
More depth to plan around.
Choose the 600 × 600 mm footprint when the equipment and cable route call for more depth than the compact frame.
Front and rear structure.
A second set of uprights supports front and rear mounting positions within a 600 × 600 mm footprint.

An open frame makes cabling and routine access straightforward. Confirm what will be mounted and where the rack will stand before selecting a model.
- Rack space · Count the U positions needed now and allow for the planned equipment.
- Equipment depth · Allow space for equipment depth and the cable route behind it.
- Access and cabling · Plan the room clearance and cable route around the open structure.
- Security · If the installation needs lockable doors and panels, consider a floor-standing cabinet.

Choose a frame style, rack height and footprint. Dimensions are overall width × depth × height in millimetres.
