Start with fiber type and the interface on each device. Then choose the connector pair and duplex construction shown in the range below.
Singlemode APC connections.
Choose SC/APC to SC/APC, LC/APC to LC/APC, or an SC/APC to LC/APC armoured cord to suit the ports and route.
SC and LC singlemode patching.
For links specified with standard SC or LC connections, select the matching SC–SC or LC–LC OS2 duplex cord.
OM3, OM4 and OM1 choices.
Use SC–LC or LC–LC in OM3; SC–LC or SC–SC in OM4. FC–FC and ST–ST models cover the listed OM1 connections.
Send the details that define your patch cord.
A connector name alone is not enough to identify an optical assembly. Include both ends and the fiber construction so the quotation matches your link schedule.
- Fiber: OS2 singlemode or the specified multimode grade.
- Both ends: State connector A and connector B, including APC where required.
- Construction: Duplex and whether an armoured version is needed.
- Length: Specify the finished cord length for each line item.
- Quantity: List the quantity for each connector and length combination.
